Encourage your child's curiosity and love for the natural world! Your child will spend time outside each day exploring the ranch, visiting the farm animals, harvesting in the garden and hiking around the farm. Each class focuses on a different farm or nature topic, and addresses various learning styles with age-appropriate, hands-on activities and explorations. We promote a safe, simple, purposeful play environment for children (4-5 years in age) so that their enthusiasm for being outside and caring for their world will continue at home and throughout their lives.

Thank you for taking interest in this amazing opportunity for your child! I am the proud owner of Tiny Acres Preschool. This is a wonderful “hands on” program for our next generation. I was born and raised on the property of Tiny Acres and couldn’t think of a better place to build my dream. I am the fifth generation to live and work on this land.
I graduated in 2005 from EWU with a degree in Elementary Education, an endorsement in Reading, and a minor in Special Education. I started teaching with a long term sub position in SPED Preschool and then taught 1st grade at Davis Elementary. Go Davis Dragons! During that time I received my Master’s degree in Elementary Education. I wanted to do more with Early Learning in my community, so I joined the Blue Mountain Association for the Education for Young Children (affiliate of NAEYC). I served as secretary for 8 years until our chapter closed. Preschool has had my heart since the beginning! After getting married to my amazing husband Terry, I realized that it was time to pursue my true passion. With his help and motivation (he is a contractor), he helped me build my dream. Early childhood development is my passion and it's so important in this community. To help, I currently serve as secretary at the Walla Walla Children's Museum. I am excited to meet you and your families and get the opportunity to share this magical learning environment!
Hi, I was born and raised in Walla Walla and graduated from Whitman College. I got my masters in Elementary Curriculum Development through Phoenix University and taught at Davis Elementary for 20 years. I am thrilled to work at Tiny Acres with Teacher Eva! I believe children should be able to play while developing social skills. I love that we explore outside, get dirty, and have animals to love.
I am married to Al, you might know him as "Officer Al" from the CP DARE program! He is retired now and enjoys taking care of me!!
I am blessed to work with my friend Eva and with young, happy children.
I was born Durango, Mexico. I've spent half of my life in Los Angeles and then moved to Walla Walla where I graduated from Wa-Hi in 1992. I have worked at the Walla Walla Country Club for 20 years and that's where I met Teacher Eva and she offered me a job at Tiny Acres. I have four kids who range from 10-24 years old. It's an honor to work with these littles!
If you have questions about our program or wish to enroll, please feel free to send us a message. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
