at Tiny Acres Preschool!
At Tiny Acres, we nurture your child’s natural curiosity and love for the outdoors! Every day includes time outside exploring the ranch—visiting farm animals, harvesting from the garden, and hiking the beautiful grounds. Each class centers around a unique farm or nature-based theme and offers hands-on, age-appropriate activities that support a variety of learning styles.
We incorporate Spanish lessons, introductory music concepts, and feature a new artist and composer each month to enrich your child’s early learning experience.
Our goal is to provide a safe, simple, and purposeful play environment for children ages 4–5, inspiring a lifelong love of nature, learning, and caring for the world around them.
Experienced teachers who love what they do! Our team is passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and joyful learning environment. With a deep understanding of child development and a genuine love for teaching, our staff builds strong connections with each child and family—helping little learners grow with confidence, curiosity, and care.

Welcome to Tiny Acres Preschool!
Thank you for taking an interest in this amazing opportunity for your child. I’m the proud owner of Tiny Acres Preschool—a hands-on, nature-based program designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in our youngest learners.
Tiny Acres is truly special to me. I was born and raised right here on the property and am the fifth generation to live and work on this land. There was no better place to bring my dream to life.
I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education, an endorsement in Reading, and a minor in Special Education. I began my teaching career in a long-term substitute position in SPED preschool, then moved on to teach first grade at Davis Elementary. (Go Davis Dragons!) During that time, I also earned my Master’s degree in Elementary Education.
My passion for early childhood education led me to become involved in the Blue Mountain Association for the Education of Young Children (an affiliate of NAEYC), where I served as secretary for eight years until our local chapter closed. Preschool has held my heart from the beginning!
After marrying my amazing husband Terry (who happens to be a contractor), we began building Tiny Acres together—quite literally. His support and skills helped turn this dream into a reality.
I previously served as secretary at the Walla Walla Children’s Museum and continue to be committed to supporting young children and families in our community.
I’m so excited to meet you and your family, and to welcome your child into this magical learning environment we’ve created at Tiny Acres!
Meet Our Teacher – Maestra Leti
I was born and raised in San Francisco Petén, Guatemala. After earning my teaching degree in 1997, I spent three years teaching before moving to College Place in the late 2000s, after meeting my husband while he was serving in the Peace Corps.
Teaching has always been my passion. For over 20 years, I’ve worked with children of all ages throughout the Walla Walla Valley, focusing primarily on preschool and early elementary students.
In 2024, I graduated from Walla Walla Community College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I completed my practicum at Tiny Acres in 2021 and officially joined the staff in 2022. Before that, I spent over 12 years as the Spanish and lead preschool teacher at Assumption School and Early Learning Center. I’ve also taught in classrooms at Blue Ridge Elementary, Palouse School, and across Walla Walla Public Schools.
Currently, I am the lead teacher for our Teeny Tiny three-year-old class on Fridays. Teaching at Tiny Acres is truly a joy—every day feels special when I’m greeted by the children’s smiling faces. I am deeply committed to nurturing young learners and helping them grow, explore, and thrive.
Meet Our Teacher – Alexis
I was born in Bakersfield, California, and raised right here in Walla Walla! After graduating from high school, I attended Walla Walla Community College and earned an Associate’s degree in Business.
My journey working with children began in Oregon, where I worked as a nanny and in a childcare center. It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with this age group! I’ve now been providing exceptional care to families for over four years, gaining valuable experience and developing a strong understanding of the unique needs of children of all ages.
I’m experienced, dependable, and genuinely passionate about working with young learners. I’m currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program and feel incredibly fortunate to be learning from some of the best mentors I could ask for. I’m so excited to be transitioning into the education field and thrilled to be a part of the Tiny Acres team!
